Help haven’t played in 4 years!?

I stopped playing golf when I left school never looking back. I enjoyed the experience but I wanted to pursue other opportunities and never really played casually. I ended up getting rid of my clubs too. Well I just found out I’m going to play a round with some old friends who are regulars next week! Back in my prime I could hit 5 over and round out under bogey on a bad day…that was when I was playing three days a week and practicing four. The first thing I’m going to do is hit the range, but does anyone have any good tips at finding your swing again? It’s been so long and I’m not expecting much I just don’t know how much progress I can make in a week. ANY help is appreciated and if it’s not too much trouble I’m browsing for some internet tutorials and anything else that can catch me up to speed. Thank you

The nice thing about golf is its like riding a bicycle. Once you have the talent you never really lose it. Just putting the club back in your hand and swinging again will feel great. If you truly loved the game just pick up the clubs and swing a couple of times. It’ll come back. And don’t worry about your friends, the only way your going to embarrass yourself is with a temper. Have Fun and welcome back to the sport!
