-       There should be absolutely no unilateral movement in the palm of the hand. This is due to the fact that if the contact face of the putt is aligned straight as per point 1, any independent hand movement would alter the face position undoing all the good work. A quick check would be to feel the hand movement and if it is solely moving without the arms and shoulders moving, one is guilty of a bad and inefficient habit. Focus on the hands instead of the ball the next time one wants to check for movement; this is very easily exposed and observed.

There are literally innumerable bad intricacies about the putt. However, if one transforms these idiosyncrasies to habits good putting would be a distant desirable star.

Golf fitness

There are many ways to improve one’s fitness off the golf course; this would invariable translate to greater endurance, steadiness under pressure and a cool mental state on it. Full body flexibility is the most crucial in conjuring a powerful and accurate swing. Gym, spinning, swimming and consistent everyday stretching exercises would do the trick.
