More Golf Tips to Improve Your Swing
Having a great instructor and skill may not be enough to achieve success in golf tournaments. Apart from those, you need the right equipment and body positioning if you want to deliver effective results. So here are more golf tips to improve your swing.
Golf Arm Band
For a start, your golf club should be between 2-5 pounds heavier than what you usually practise. Having a heavier club helps you to practise your swing in slow motion and execute properly during the tournament.
Some golfers are not accustomed in keeping their arms together upon swinging. In this case, a stretchable golf arm band will come in handy. The band should be put in between your triceps so that you form an alphabet V when you start swinging.
Golf Grip
Holding your golf club is another important factor to be taken into consideration.
Because winning or losing mostly depends on how you hold your golf club. Just because it is important to maintain body balance and momentum does not mean you should hold the club too tightly. But if you are still unable to adopt after practising again and again, a golf grip will be handy.
A major advantage is that golf grip fits all kinds of clubs regardless of sizes. It is made of plastic so that you can easily remove it. If your hands get sweaty easily, trying putting golf grip on your club.
Golf Wedge
Apart from your upper body, you need to improve your footing. A foot wedge will be very useful especially for right handed players in keeping balance and momentum.
Golf DVD
You can also buy a DVD. Watch and observe what the instructor says before putting his advice into actual practice.
Golf Practice In Front Of Mirror
Practising in front of mirror is another great way to improve your golf swing.
While watching yourself, it is easier for you to find out which areas you should improve. You may also want to get a digital camcorder to record and rewind when you have finished practising.
Golf Instructor
If you can afford a reliable golf instructor, that will be the greatest tip you will ever get.
Learning from someone who has been there and achieved what you want will be many times better than trying to guess what is right and wrong when practising in front of mirror or watching DVD.
Apart from golf instructor and DVD, all the accessories I mentioned before those cost $20 and below. They are available in most sports shops. Since they are so affordable, they are certainly worth your value in improving golf swing.
Should they be not available in your local stores and you cannot wait for the next shipment to arrive, you can check them online. Simply type the word golf accessories in major search engines like Google, MSN or Yahoo and you should have no problem locating them. However due to shipping and delivery costs, they can be slightly more expensive.
If the feedback provided by other golf fans is good, go ahead and put their advice into practice. That way, you can find out if their advice can improve your game or not.
These are all my additional golf tips in improving your swing.
